Casey presented her work on developing plasmonic nanocomposites for microfluidic SERS detection at SciX Conference 2024 in Raleight, NC (October 2024)
Nour presented her work on fluorescence conjugation kinetics at the Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS) in Atlanta, GA (October 2024)
Dr. Casto-Boggess gave a talk at ITP 2024!
LCB attended the 30th International Symposium on Electro- and Liquid-Phase Separation Techniques (ITP 2024) in Fort Worth, TX to give a talk on her work related to biosignature detection using CE and present on some of the science going on in the lab (September 2024).
Welcome Suchi!
Most Jannatul Ferdous Suchi officially began her journey as a PhD student this Fall! Suchi has been working in the Casto Analytical Lab since Fall 2023 but joined the Chemistry & Nanoscale Science PhD program officially this Fall. Welcome back, Suchi! (August 2024)
Dr. Casto-Boggess received a North Carolina Space Grant 2024-2025 Faulty Research Grant!
LCB is a 2024-2025 recipient of the Faculty Research Grant through the North Carolina Space Grant for our labs work on designing frequency-encoded strategies for nanoscale sample processing and analysis using microfluidic CE-LIF.
